Meta has been a pioneer in AI for more than a decade. We’ve released more than 1,000 AI models, libraries, and data sets for researchers – including the latest version of our large language model, Llama 2, available in partnership with Microsoft.
Today, we’re launching new generative AI features, and like other Meta products, we took steps to protect your privacy and offer greater transparency as we built these exciting new features.
This week Meta hosted nearly 100 privacy academics, technologists, and thought leaders from around the world for a Global Privacy Flyout in Menlo Park to discuss how best to center privacy across product development, innovation, and tech policymaking. This is part of our ongoing work to engage outside stakeholders to embed privacy in everything we build.
